WONGOSOL also advocates and lobbies with the National Legislature, the Executive and Judiciary Branches of the Liberian Government to design and implement gender sensitive plans, reforms, programs, and policies in peace building and national recovery and development. WONGOSOL has its members working across several sectors including, natural resources management, governance and peacebuilding, human rights, agriculture and food security livelihoods, advocacy, women and gender\ empowerment, sexual reproductive health and rights, water sanitation and hygiene, health promotion and education and others.

WONGOSOL’s structure is as such, the Annual General Assembly is the highest decision-making body; It looks at policy documents and amendment that are made after every two (2) years. WONGOSOL has a board of seven (7) members all women from different disciplines and are from its network organizations. The secretariat is being headed by an Executive Director who runs the day to day activities. Together, these diverse parts of WONGOSOL are bound together in a commitment to a common vision, mission, values and guiding principles.
